About
A student's morning desk, in public.
Capital Call is a personal project. It exists to make me a better investor and to show, rather than claim, an interest in private equity, investment banking and consulting.
Why this exists
Every weekday morning an AI pass summarises markets, business, economic and deals news into a short brief. I read it, then write what I actually think: positions and ideas in the journal, one-page pitches, a weekly LBO candidate, and macro notes.
Everything public is framed as what I think and why. The private edition adds my watchlist and holdings, which stay private because the data behind them is licensed for personal use only.
Rules I hold myself to
- 01General information only. Never buy, sell, price targets or personal recommendations.
- 02News is summarised in my own words. Never more than the headline is reproduced, and every item links to its source.
- 03Theses record what would make me wrong, and get an outcome note when closed.
- 04Public market data uses ETF proxies and official statistics. They are labelled as ETFs, not indices.
Disclaimer
General information only, not financial advice. I'm a student, not a licensed adviser.
Nothing here takes your objectives, financial situation or needs into account. Markets data is delayed and may be wrong. Do your own work, or talk to someone who is licensed to do it for you.
